The state-of-the-art Puskar Athletic Center gives the West Virginia University football team a home base fit for the pros. At 85,700GSF, the renovations have completely revolutionized the student-athlete experience at WVU. A fully outfitted locker room allows for the perfect pregame, giving athletes access to connect their cellphones to the speaker system via Bluetooth and set the lights & video wall to “game mode” with the help of a touch panel.

Locker end caps are adorned with LED video panels, showcasing content during game days and recruiting events.

Athlete’s lockers are topped with a 43” LED screens that are personalized to each athlete. Post-game, the team can review game play videos both in the locker room or in the 125+ seat Team Meeting Room. Additionally, Team Position Rooms are available for more direct coaching and review.

A fully outfitted Creative Studio is located on the second floor of the building. The Studio acts as a dedicated location for Virtual Recruitment and the head coach’s Media obligations throughout the week. Athletes also have access to the Reynolds Family Academic Performance Center on the top floor of the Center. A library-style study area provides athletes access to tutoring, group work, and 30 computer stations.

On game days, fans are greeted with the West Virginia University Hall of Traditions, which features a massive video wall and several interactive exhibits. Two touch screen displays alongside an interactive timeline exhibit activated by pressing down on the provided footballs. Fans are also able to customize their own virtual jersey with a large AR-enabled video screen. The main entrance features an LED video wall which showcases photos and videos from games past.

In addition to game-day facilities, athletes have access to several amenities including a Player Lounge with a Barber Shop and video/audio Recording Studio, extensive training and recovery space featuring cryotherapy pools, and a quiet Sleep Room with sleep pods and zero-gravity seats. The Fifth Quarter Suite provides athletes with off-field personal and professional development, as well as academic support.
