Acoustics

Sound defines how people experience a space whether it’s a theater, classroom, office, or stadium. Our acousticians design environments where audio is clear, controlled, and comfortable.

What We Do

  • Room Acoustics: Balance reverberation, geometry, and materials so sound travels as intended—from a teacher’s voice in a classroom to performances in a theater.
  • Sound Isolation & Impact: Prevent noise transfer between spaces like patient rooms, offices, and labs; meet HIPAA and privacy needs; address floor-to-floor sound through impact insulation solutions.
  • Building Systems Noise & Vibration: Collaborate with engineers to minimize noise from HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems using silencers, enclosures, and vibration isolators.
  • Environmental Noise Control: Design with surrounding context in mind, limiting outside noise (airports, railways) and managing how internal noise (like stadiums or rooftop equipment) affects nearby communities.

Why it Matters

Every material, angle, and system contributes to the way a space sounds. With thoughtful acoustic design, we create environments that are functional, private, and enjoyable, enhancing both performance and everyday experiences.

"Poor acoustic design can lead to decreased productivity, hindered communication, and a compromised work environment. Through proactive & analytical acoustics consulting, we can achieve a sound-scape that limits excess noise and enhances overall sound quality throughout the building."
