In 2011, a single YouTube video reshaped the company’s trajectory. A tutorial showcasing technology from a recent project caught the attention of Stanford University’s Director of Digital Learning Spaces. What began as a late-night comment quickly turned into a conversation. During that discussion, Stanford expressed interest in technology design, a service the company didn’t yet offer. The team was encouraged to establish a dedicated technology design practice, with Stanford committing to be its first client. That opportunity led to the founding of BrightTree Studios.
