In an effort to enhance its athletic offerings, St. Vincent College has set plans into motion for the construction of the Dunlap Family Athletic and Recreation Center. Spanning 72,000GSF, the Center ensures the highest standards of athletic excellence and functionality are met. The Center will include practice areas tailored to meet the unique needs of several St. Vincent athletic programs.

Practice courts will be outfitted with ultramodern equipment, allowing athletes to record and monitor their performance with precision. This invaluable data contributes to the enhancement of training programs, enabling them to improve and excel in their respective sports. Digital displays will be placed throughout the building, promoting team personalization and data discussion. Athletes and coaches can easily access and analyze key statistics, game footage, and strategic insights, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements.

A two-story area for locker rooms, support spaces, and sport-specific training rooms, offers a sanctuary where athletes have space to prepare mentally and physically for their athletic endeavor. The support spaces serve as versatile areas for team meetings, discussions, and specialized training sessions. The sport-specific training rooms will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, enabling athletes to optimize their performance and maximize their potential.

The introduction of the new Athletic & Recreation Center aligns with St. Vincent College’s mission to work with students to integrate their professional aims with the broader purposes of human life. This facility provides an advanced space for athletes to thrive, develop their skills, and foster a strong sense of community.
