Slippery Rock University has transformed the existing University Union into a brand-new Campus Success Center (CSC). Aimed at centralizing essential resources for students, the newly renovated 82,665GSF facility aligns with the University’s mission to empower students and prepare them for success in all aspects of life.

The Campus Success Center serves as the new home to the Office of Disability Services, the Financial Aid offices, the Dean of Students office, a Student Counseling Center & Student Health Center, and the Center for Career and Academic Progress. The central location of the building gives students the opportunity to utilize tools provided by the University all in one building. Additionally, the CSC provides new space for the student mail center and parking/ID services.

The Student Health Center gives students access to general healthcare and facilitates immunization clinics throughout the year. Alongside a dedicated Physician’s office, there are 11 nursing stations in the space, allowing for quick treatment. The Campus Success Center also houses the Rock Pantry+ – the University’s on-site food pantry which provides supplementary food and resources to students in need. Rock Pantry+ offers a shopping-style experience where students can make an appointment or drop-in to fill a bag of items at no cost.

In addition to a myriad of study pods and open study areas, the Campus Success Center has space for career counseling and interview preparation for post-graduate success. The Student Counseling Center has space for both individual and group counseling, giving students flexibility in their care program. Several large conference rooms are available for both staff and student use, and a large testing area provides students with a quiet space for exams. A large multi-purpose room is located on the second floor of the building, providing space for campus events, presentations, and much more.
