The expansion of Clemson University’s Daniel Hall provides students with modernized learning environments that will allow for enhanced learning experiences. The expansion of the building resulted in a 75,000GSF hub for general education courses. Daniel Hall’s location allows the new building to have a significant impact on the campus’s physical location as well, becoming a beacon for student learning and collaboration.

New classrooms provide dynamic and engaging environments that will promote collaborative problem-solving, critical thinking, and hands-on learning experiences. The expansion includes a 250-seat auditorium, accommodating larger lectures, presentations, and campus events. Classrooms within Daniel Hall can adapt to several types of learning, supporting smaller, flexible classrooms and larger spaces like scale-up classrooms.

Recognizing the value of informal connection, smaller collaboration areas have been incorporated throughout the space. These spaces provide students with an environment to exchange ideas and engage in discussions between classes. A café is also available to students, offering a convenient dining option between classes. A large student lounge provides a comfortable atmosphere for studying, socializing, and connecting with peers.
