To foster a progressive and cutting-edge workspace, BrightTree Studios designed technology systems for Motional’s new corporate headquarters in partnership with APTIV. Spanning 88,000GSF, this new space keeps the company’s STEM-centered needs in mind and allows employees to research and develop new automotive technologies.

Throughout the facility, designs were provided to support audio & video conferencing, presentations, and the robust telecommunication infrastructure and security systems required to do high-level engineering work.

The Testing Garage is a highlight of the facility, the designs working to integrate research phases with experimental phases, allowing the APTIV team to emphasize the need for safer transportation and improved quality of life. A high-quality video conferencing infrastructure allows for real time testing and hybrid meetings with clients and external team members.

Additionally, conference rooms, an executive boardroom, dining areas, and the office lobby were included in the building design to ensure a cohesive experience throughout the building.

The brand-new Executive Boardroom gives APTIV the ability to hold large town hall meetings with staff, opening up new opportunities for teamwork, conceptualization, and execution.
