Clemson University has constructed the brand-new Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, creating an environment that empowers students to evolve into innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders. The 176,000GSF space incorporates innovative technology for an enhanced user experience, enabling hands-on experiential learning and collaboration.

Students will now have access to state-of-the-art learning laboratories, including space for Behavioral Learning, Financial Trading, and Econometrics. The Erwin Center for Brand Communications gives students real-world experience through the University’s student-led brand consulting agency, Cadency. Those within the J. Daniel and Nancy Garrison Sales Innovation Program receive hands-on instruction that focuses on sales education & research, preparing them for a career in service, technical, or medical device sales.

To encourage student innovation, Incubator Spaces are available for entrepreneurial endeavors. Think Tank offices & a conference room allow for project ideation giving students the hands-on experience the University encourages. PhD Students have dedicated workspaces alongside faculty and staff offices & lounges. Interview rooms are available for interview prep and for post-graduate career interviews; these rooms are paired with a reserved space for corporate recruiters.

A large Leadership Boardroom finds a home on the top level of the building, alongside department head & University leadership offices. Several floors have a kitchenette available to students, alongside classrooms, private study & meeting rooms, and smaller collaboration spaces scattered throughout the building. An auditorium and student cafe are available on the ground floor, providing an all-in-one building experience for Business Students. The technology designs implemented in these spaces seamlessly integrate audiovisual and security systems, ensuring a top tier learning environment.
