Project Manager/Project Consultant

We focus on creating a complete package for our clients including planning and programming, technology and software visioning, construction documentation, and detailed system designs.

We are seeking a qualified Project Manager/Project Consultant in the east region of the United States to support our growing client base. A self-starter with imagination and an innovative spirit will feel at home and have the freedom to grow their career as a part of our industry-disrupting team.

The Project Manager/Project Consultant will work in conjunction with the Design Principal from inception through completion to create new and exciting outcomes for our clients. Ability to work on several concurrent projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines is a must.



  • Develop AV functional capabilities and budgets
  • Oversee project deliverables
  • Coordinate AV system design with internal project teams
  • Coordinate with client IT teams for networked AV devices
  • Develop complete system design packages including system drawings, specifications,
    equipment lists
  • Perform visioning, planning, and programming meetings with clients
  • Prepare Punch List documents and follow-up materials
  • Collaborate with discipline leaders on timelines and workloads
  • Present to architects and end-users
  • Assist with client/user training
  • Create relationships with architects and end-users
  • Secure “teaming” opportunities with architectural firms
  • Record all activity in business workflow software
  • Travel

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • 5+ years AV design experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Professional certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, RCDD, CCNA, CCNE, Network+)
  • Thorough working knowledge of the operation and troubleshooting of AV and IT systems
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings (architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems) and related documentation
  • Familiarity with AMX, Crestron and Extron control systems and configuration software
  • Industry-relevant training and technical courses a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of normal business and office procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
