525 William Penn Place

Recently featured in the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the region’s most interesting architectural projects, renovations at 525 William Penn Place are well underway.

Taking a “restorative” approach to an architecturally monumental building in downtown Pittsburgh, the team hopes to capture the eyes of the whole city with a dazzling “glass box” lobby and an updated showroom and conference center in the tenant lounge.

BrightTree Studios is leading the project’s security renovations. In an effort to modernize the security system of the lobby, BrightTree Studios is implementing a new system that gives both employees and tenants centralized access to the building with the swipe of a badge. Of course, strengthening and unifying these safety protocols will enhance building security and make for a more practical and comfortable living/working environment.

Additionally, BrightTree Studios is updating building surveillance with higher resolution and increased storage capacity, which will provide better analytics for the building via improved software. These services will contribute to the overall refresh of the building.

The project is set to be completed in spring 2019.
