JOINT LABORATORY FACILITY FOR PENNSYLVANIA GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS

The Pennsylvania Department of General Services set up a collaborative laboratory that accommodates five key agencies: the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Health, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. This joint laboratory initiative, situated in Harrisburg, PA, aims to achieve a coherent and joined public image, fostering face-to-face interactions and cohesion among these five departments. Designed to adapt to the evolving landscape, the facility not only offers ample laboratory space but also serves as a hub for innovative endeavors and ongoing project initiatives.

The brand new facility will not only cater to the agencies’ diverse requirements but also feature supplementary amenities. These include an operational greenhouse, dedicated space for ballistics investigation, and an area for specimen collection.
