
Clemson University has constructed a new facility to house the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, creating an environment that brings students, faculty, and industry together in an inspiring space. Spanning 176,000GSF, the space incorporates innovative technology for an enhanced user experience, enabling collaboration, productivity, and creativity in exciting ways.
The building includes an advanced business simulation laboratory, a professional sales laboratory with audio/video recording and playback functionality, behavior laboratories for research, programming, and experimentation, and a real-time analysis and investment laboratory with multiple workstations to mimic real trading desks. These specialized spaces provide hands-on, real-world experience in a controlled environment that compels students to challenge themselves.
Some areas within the building replicate authentic business environments, such as Wall Street trading desks, providing students with a realistic experience. The technology designs implemented in these spaces seamlessly integrate audiovisual and security systems, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive learning environment.
