BNY Mellon

Working with the client’s own team of IT and design support, BrightTree Studios created a leading-edge AV technology system for the respected, 200 year-old banking and security institution’s innovation center with the following objectives in mind:

• Invite content creation, discussion, and experimentation.
• Encourage local and global cross-disciplinary interaction and gathering.
• Support singular and collective engagement and idea incubation activities.
• Showcase the inventive work within innovation center
• Be highly adaptable and flexible.
• Integrate low-tech gathering spaces with high-tech data visualization

To accomplish this, a series of spaces were created with specific purposes and outfitted with unique AV technology platforms to support a variety of uses and users.

Town Hall / Pantry: a public, high-profile collaboration space. The technology design focuses on staff break-out meetings, hackathons, collaboration sessions, and guest presentation/event space. A technology wall incorporates a low-fi, maker-space aesthetic with high-tech, custom installation.

Training Room: divisible room for large and small groups supported by a 95” flat panel display

Mobile Studio Cart: flexible, adaptive light broadcast studio used for recording and streaming of marketing videos.

War Room: high-end executive meeting space includes two sets of 3 panels that can project the same content or content from multiple sources. The room includes one large 75” display.

Co-Lab: equipped with flat panels and cameras for recording focus group participants experimenting with the company’s product line.

Huddle Rooms: smaller rooms holding 3-4 people equipped with video and audio conferencing capabilities. Systems allow participants to plug in their computers and share their content with all attendees.

Digital Signage: found throughout the entire space, these visual displays can be used for company announcements and scheduling, or for impromptu meetings. Users can connect to these units with a laptop or other hand held device.
