Marketing Assistant

The Pittsburgh office of BrightTree Studios is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. Working closely with others in the firm, the Marketing Assistant participates in all stages of the procurement process, from strategy to proposal preparation to interviews, in a deadline-driven environment. We are seeking a talented individual who is committed to excellence, who thrives in an environment of collaboration, and who demonstrates a high degree of enthusiasm.


 Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of proposal submissions, qualifications packages, presentations, and brochures.

Assist in lead tracking and capital project research.

Work with the principals, project managers, and technical staff to develop relevant materials.

Assist in the creation of a social media plan and execution.

Provide support in research and writing for press releases, pitches, and general media relations.

Clearly organize documents and resources, including marketing files and folders on our network and organization of records on our database, Insightly.

Additional responsibilities as needed.



Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field.

0-3 years of experience in writing/marketing/graphics

Experience in the A/E/C field a bonus.

Self-starter. The ability to work as part of team as well as independently.

Experience creatively using social media platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook

High level of design sensibility. Great eye for page layout and graphic placement.

Attention to detail is a must.

Strong creative and technical writing skills. Unique writing sensibility. You will be writing.

Creative thinker. Imaginative ideas. Ability to turn ideas into actions.

Solid working knowledge of MS Office. Coursework or strong interest in Adobe products: InDesign and Photoshop a plus.

Must be intrigued by technology.
